Launch of Traveling Wiis, LLC

After hours or research, planning and putting everything together, we've finally started our new company - Traveling Wiis, LLC. Scott and I are both very excited! What started out as us buying Nintendo Wii's to sell on Ebay, turned into a late night "AH-HA" moment and now into a new company.

We'll be renting out packages which consist of the Nintendo Wii and either Guitar Hero III or Dance Dance Revolution (or both). We'll go to the clients' house/office/party place and set it up, do a demo and then leave everyone to have some fun, then we'll pick everything up at the end again. You can look at our website: www.travelingwiis.com to see exactly what it's all about.

We have our launch party this Saturday where we get to not only celebrate our new venture, but also get to give people a chance to see what it would be like to rent a package for a party of their own.

We're a little nervous about braving the unknown, but we really believe in this idea and know that people will love it. I think the greatest fear is that of failing, but the reality is that we have to start somewhere and like anything in life - if we let fear hold us back we stand to lose out on some of the greatest things we'll ever experience. I also keep reminding myself that a lot successful business people (for e.g. Donald Trump, Robert Kiyosaki) have failed, some of them more than once, yet they keep on going, learning from their mistakes and doing things different/better the next time around.

So if you remember, we'd appreciate everyone keeping us in their prayers. Pray that God will continue to open doors and prepare the way for us. Pray for godly wisdom, strength, discernment and most importantly for endurance. For us to keep on believing and trusting God and to not give up on this idea that we believe He gave us. We'll keep everyone posted as to what's going on and look forward to sharing our successes with you.

First time at Chuck E Cheese

On Saturday Scott and I braved the unknown and decided to take Joshua and Anna to Chuck E Cheese. The next step in our "things to do as a parent" training. I have to admit - I was a little nervous, but it worked out lovely in the end and we all had a wonderful time.

Of course Joshua and Anna loved it. As for Scott and I, how could we not? Where else can you go out in public (except maybe Wannado City here in Florida), and not have to stress about keeping your kids glued to your side every second, because you don't want anything bad to happen to them? We saw them for the first half hour and then for the next 2 hours they played in the jungle gym/playland area. Every time we checked on them they were having a blast.

Of course with all the fun that they were having they didn't really want to leave when it was time to go home. They had the perfect kids day - pizza, soda and playing games. We were pleasantly surprised that it was only 1 token to play a game, and since we only payed 10 cents a token with a coupon, it was so much cheaper than we expected. After such a great time, we'll definitely be going back again.
